Wendy is a dynamic leader with 20+ years experience in Marketing and Sales for numerous high profile brands. Wendy is currently Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, for Minnesota Super Bowl LII. Wendy’s responsibilities include raising the millions of dollars required to produce and execute the world’s most exciting sporting event through private corporate donations; maximizing the economic and social impact to the region and ultimately leaving a lasting legacy for Minnesota that will positively benefit the state for years to come.
Prior to the Super Bowl, Wendy was the SVP of Marketing and Company Officer at Sun Country Airlines where she created and built the “Hometown Airline” brand and was responsible for all sales, public relations, advertising, digital marketing, events and business development, Wendy also started Sun Country Vacations during her tenure. She has held similar marketing, sales/partnership positions with Mall of America, University of MN, MN North Stars (NHL Hockey prior to the Wild), Rollerblade, KDWB and KSTP-TV. She has been an active participant in the Twin Cities community where she has served on numerous boards including University of Minnesota Alumni Association, The Emily Program Foundation and Alive + Kickin’. She is an award-winning marketer, named to Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, earning numerous retail, advertising and marketing awards.
